Milestone Sessions Feature - Spring 2018

Here is the biggest problem I see..

Often after we have our baby, we get stuck in the day to day minutia of keeping everyone fed and alive.. in turn forgetting about preserving those precious firsts in our baby's life. Things like crawling, sitting up, smiling.. even finding their feet! All of those little milestones come and go so quickly. And before we know it, we have a full-fledged toddler on our hands with no frame-worthy photographs of our baby's first year.

That is exactly why I created these Milestone Sessions for little babies from 3-14 months of age. They are the perfect way to supplement annual family portraits because they are so easy and convenient for busy parents! All you need to do is bring your child dressed in a simple white outfit.. and I handle the rest. Around 45 minutes is the perfect time frame for little ones and allows us enough time to not rush and even get in an outfit change.

Last month, I was so honored to photograph Hannah, Camellia, Hudson, and Clara in the Studio. They ranged from 4 months to 14 months old and all had different interests, personalities, and temperaments! The one thing that is consistent throughout is my approach to photographing babies this age. I simply let them be themselves! There is no posing or coaxing. They can play with toys, sit, or lay down. I provide a safe environment, Studio lighting that looks completely natural, and a final product that would look absolutely gorgeous framed on the wall.

Most of all, these portraits really show who they are! As a parent, you're creating a photographic legacy for your child that will last for many many years, and will also be truly cherished when passed down. And the quality of the work plays a big part in that!

I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorite images from each session below.. and if you have a little one who is ready to have their own Milestone Session, the next one will be on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in my Studio in Greenwich, CT. You can add your name to the waitlist NOW by going here:
