New! Website Update

Part of always trying to improve is having to change things. It’s not always my favorite thing in the world - spending time I can otherwise devote to something else - but updating the website is something I’ve been wanting to do for a few months now. And now that I’ve had a couple weeks over the holiday break, it finally happened!

Now, some of you might know that I come from a web design background. Having spent almost 10 years designing sites, ad campaigns, and promotions as an art director at advertising agencies, I have some experience to lean back on. But the main thing that has changed isn’t the way the site looks. In fact, you’ll recognize the familiar simple branding and straight-forward style from the past few iterations.

The main difference is structure.

Every year, I try to refine.. not just the website, but the types of services I offer as a photographer. And it has become clear to me, over the past year, that headshots are something a lot of people need in the area. And so, fleshing out and creating individual pages for the different types of sessions (family, newborn & maternity, baby milestones, and yes, headshots and personal branding) made the most sense.

Overall, I wanted to make things simpler and easier to understand (and I hope that’s been accomplished). I will be refining and adjusting things here and there, over the next couple of weeks.. and if you can, please let me know what you think! (send your note for info@nlalorphotography.com) If you encounter anything that isn’t clear or should be done differently, tell me. This site is for YOU, my clients and potential clients, and I’d like to do everything in my power to make that confusing and often frustrating process of selecting a photographer easier.

And now.. back to work! :)
